I tried to be realistic
I joined the choir
Sang a song
My voice hoarse
I swallowed my pride
Tried again and again
But life taught me a lesson
It's not worth a try when the
action is futile
In many avenues of life, I
saw people happy
Enjoying the sweet moments of
life
I wondered about their
philosophy of life
Is it burdened with gigantic
mathematical equations?
Or are they free spirits
wandering in the lower plains of existence?
The answer is always in
between the questions
It's not uncommon to dream
But some dreams are more real
than reality
Should I listen to the
scientist and dismiss them as just dreams?
Or maybe I should listen to
the spirit and follow them to their hiding place, decode their messages and
embrace the mystery
Life is a conundrum, we
celebrate every rainfall
Yet, we detest the floods
Where can I place my bet, in
science or spirit?
Should I live with my
incapacited mental frame
Or should I forget about
trying to figure it out?
Maybe life was meant to be
dissected
Shredded and discarded
Its ligaments hold no meaning
at all
But maybe there is a deeper
story weaved within life's commotions
Listen to the Poet's pleas
and follow your heart
It's always more fun to
listen to your own heartbeat
What is its story?
Is it just following the
manual of life? Or is there hidden meanings in its loud outbursts
It is the palpitations of
life that contain the answers
What's wrong inside life's
solid tendons?
Inequality, prejudice, hate,
jealousy and wickedness
What's happening here?
I tried to be realistic
But life taught me that
reality is not real
I have to weave my own path
Listen to Silence more
Follow my dreams
Learn from my mistakes
And be the person I was born
to be
A pathfinder, dreamer, lover,
Seeker, Mystic...
